Jerónimo Saldaña, Legislative and Organizing Coordinator
Jerónimo Saldaña is the legislative and organizing coordinator for the movement building team at the Drug Policy Alliance, where he works to grow the movement to end the war on drugs. He is committed to pursuing an end to mass incarceration and racial injustice through community empowerment and organizing strategies.
Prior to joining the Drug Policy Alliance, Saldaña worked as a political organizer for a Service Employees International Union (SEIU) affiliate advocating on behalf of working families and helping union members elect strong advocates to elected office. Jeronimo has also worked on environmental justice, civic engagement, and immigrant rights while serving as a program associate at the Open Society Foundations and New World Foundation. Saldaña is a native East L.A. Chicano with a B.A. in Chican/o studies from the University of California Santa Barbara.
