Tieler Giles, Deputy Director, Development

Tieler Giles is deputy director of development for the Drug Policy Alliance and is responsible for developing strategies to engage donors with the mission and work of the organization.

Tieler has more than 10 years’ experience helping nonprofit and philanthropic organizations communicate their vision to engage and move people to action. Previously, she served as marketing and communications manager for The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, where she planned and directed branding and communications strategies to build relationships with donors, community leaders and key audiences. Tieler began her career at public relations agency Porter Novelli working on issues such as HIV/AIDS, women’s health, and childhood obesity.

Tieler is a graduate of Florida A&M University, received a Masters in Mass Communication from the University of Georgia, and has a certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management from the Georgia Center for Nonprofits. She is passionate about personal wellness, and enjoys running, staying active, and working with young people.
