DeDe Dunevant, Managing Director, Communications

DeDe Dunevant 60x85DeDe Dunevant is managing director of communications, based in New York. Her communications career spans more than fifteen years and includes experience in the fields of education, retail, international volunteerism and global public health.

Prior to joining the organization, Dunevant served as the senior marketing official for the Peace Corps, where she managed the creation of an integrated recruitment communications campaign that included production of a recruitment video, collateral print materials and public-service announcements for television, radio, web and print. Before coming to New York, Dunevant was director of communications for Pre-K Now, a nonprofit, public education and advocacy group funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts.

Originally from Los Angeles, Dunevant graduated from the University of California Los Angeles and taught English for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea, West Africa.
