Let's Talk: A Video for Adults about Teens and Drug Education
Lange, Monica (Producer). Let's Talk: A Video for Adults about Teens and Drug Education. Street Media Inc. Nov 1999.

Teens in the 90's had more drug education than any group in history and yet, drug use in their generation was on the rise from a decade earlier. Studies have shown that while drug education programs may influence attitudes towards drugs they, in fact, produce little behavioral change.
In Let's Talk teens themselves explain why current drug education efforts have failed them. The video consists of a series of interviews with kids from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds and of different ages, from junior high to early adulthood. They describe their early, often positive, exposure to anti-drug messages and the reasons for their later mistrust of those same messages. They discuss other influences that come to affect their behavior and why. And finally they tell what information they really do want to learn and who from whom they want to learn it.
