Election 2004

Election Day: November 2, 2004

election 2004 buttonIn the countdown to the 2004 presidential election, the Drug Policy Alliance has compiled candidate profiles to gauge each contender’s opinions on drug policy issues.  For the first time, voters will be able to make an informed decision based solely on a candidate’s opinions on drug policy.

The millions of reformers and harm reduction advocates have a real opportunity to make a difference and make drug policy reform a leading issue in the 2004 race. Candidates need to know that citizens are fed up with the “War on Drugs.” Visit candidates on the campaign trail to ask them tough drug policy reform questions and inform other voters about which candidates need to work on their drug policy reform campaign promises!
