Research

Over the last several years, there has been a great deal of research that illuminates the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) egregious and illegal marijuana possession enforcement policy. In this section you will find several reports that explore marijuana possession arrests in New York City and their collateral impacts on communities of color, as well as other reports that have studied the ramifications of marijuana arrests on a national level.
