Joe Salas is the membership director at the Drug Policy Alliance. He leads the organization’s membership and donor services programs, including the Reformers Club, Champions Circle, and the Planned Giving Society.
Joe has more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, and communications. Prior to joining the Drug Policy Alliance, Joe managed direct marketing and communications for a historic New York City settlement house. It is where he first learned about harm reduction principles. Joe also has experience in multichannel marketing. He has developed campaigns that have spanned from the billboards of Times Square to your cell phone.
Joe is originally from Chicago. He agrees deep dish is not pizza. He currently lives in Atlanta.
